McFarland Unified School District is committed to providing all students a safe academic environment where they will be taught 21st Century skills to make them effective communicators, innovators, and participants in the global economy.

The McFarland Unified School District invites prospective classroom teachers to apply for employment with the school district. The district serves approximately 3,340 students. A new middle school was constructed in August 1997. Modernization projects are underway to provide a better atmosphere for teachers and students. While most students live in McFarland, some are transported daily from the surrounding countryside.
