Step 1: Complete the Enrollment Questionnaire. Select your preferred language, and click on the link. Complete only one. This takes about 3 minutes.
This quick survey helps us provide information regarding any extra programs or services your student may need to be successful. You will need to provide proof of residency (current address) by emailing a copy or picture to Reaguil@mcfarland.k12.ca.us. Collect the following documents to prepare for the next step. See Transitional Kindergarten/Kindergarten for additional information, if applicable.
Proof of the child's age may include: (Education Code 48002)
a. A certified copy of a birth certificate or a statement by the local registrar or county recorder certifying the date of birth
b. A duly attested baptism certificate
c. A passport
d. When none of the above documents is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent/guardian
e. Other means prescribed by the Board
A. Property tax payment receipt
B. Rental property contract, lease, or payment receipt
C. Utility service contract, statement, or payment receipt
D. Pay stub
E. Voter registration
F. Correspondence from a government agency
G. Declaration of residency executed by the student's parent/guardian
H. If the student is an unaccompanied youth as defined in 42 USC 11434a, a declaration of residency executed by the student
I. If the student is residing in the home of a caregiving adult within district boundaries, an affidavit executed by the caregiving adult
in accordance with Family Code 6552
Step 2: Click here to begin the online AERIES enrollment.
This form takes about 30 – 40 minutes. If you do not have time to finish the form, you may save it and return to complete it at a later time. If you have trouble or do not understand any of the questions, please call our help desk at 661 667-1326. There is a "Document Upload" section at the end where you can upload the above documents and any other related transfer records such as grades, transcripts, behavior records, attendance records, etc. When you are finished, click ‘Finish and Submit’.
Step 3: Congratulations! The most difficult part is complete.
A staff member will contact you within two school days to go over your documents and to assist you with completing the process.
