Brian Bell, Assistant Superintendent

Assistant Superintendent Brian Bell has served the McFarland community since 2014. He started out at McFarland High School as Vice Principal of Athletics/Activities and Curriculum, transitioned to Principal in 2015, then accepted his current position of Assistant Superintendent of Education Services for the 2019-2020 school year. He has worked in education for 20 years servicing students of Kern County.

Brian’s biggest accomplishment is being the founding principal of the McFarland High School Early College partnered with Bakersfield College. His desire of building the Early College was to provide access and advantage ensuring all students receive a minimum of 9 college credits prior to graduation. He continues to build programs that provide McFarland students access and advantage. His passion for student achievement and success is without limit.
