Re-Entry to Campus Plan
February 23, 2021 Syndicated from District

Information Related to Re-Entry to Campus.

Dear Students, Families, and Guardian:

This past December, with the region experiencing a rise in COVID-19 cases, the District made the decision to ‘pause’ in person instruction and return all students to Distance Learning. As we have stated since the beginning of this pandemic, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority.

With COVID-19 infection rates continuing to trend downward—and the expected continued improvement—the District is ready to ‘un-pause’ and return students following the approved ‘District Reopening Plan’.

We will begin to phase students back to in-person instruction beginning with TK and 1st grade on March 8th. The next phase of students will include 2nd and 3rd grade with a projected start date of March 22nd.

The District will continue to monitor cases in Kern County and work with public health officials to reach our objective of bringing all students safely back to school campuses. We will notify students and families as more information becomes available.
